Cabbage rolls recipe




A recipe for cabbage casserole featuring Cheddar cheese and a topping of bread crumbs. 

Components: 

* 1 cabbage head -- diced 

* 2 medium onions -- diced 

* 3 cloves garlic -- finely chopped 

* culinary oil 

* 1 butter stick -- (4 ounces) 

* 6 slices of bread -- immersed in milk 

* 2 cups heavy cream 

* 8 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded 

* salt and pepper -- according to preference 

* seasoned fine bread crumbs 

Preparation: 

Blanch chopped cabbage in salted water until slightly soft. Remove the liquid and put it aside. Sauté onions and 

sauté garlic in a small amount of vegetable oil until the onions are clear but not browned. Incorporate cabbage with onions and garlic. Incorporate butter, dampened bread, cream, and cheese.
